Where Rise is ahead

Rise has been around longer, has a much larger review base, and covers far more ground — gift cards, loyalty programs, referrals, and POS integrations that StoreCred doesn't attempt. If you need that full suite in one app, Rise is a reasonable choice.

Why merchants switch

The recurring complaint in Rise's own reviews is billing: because Rise bills on total store sales rather than credit actually issued, a jump in unrelated sales volume can produce a bill far larger than a merchant expects. StoreCred charges one flat price regardless of how much you sell or how much credit you issue.

Migrating from Rise

StoreCred issues credit directly into Shopify's native store credit system. If you're moving off Rise, our CSV import lets you re-issue customer balances in one pass — email us and we'll walk through it with you at no charge.
